Septagon Construction Welcomes New Construction Manager in Grimes

Septagon Construction has welcomed Bryan Bielfelt to its Grimes division as Construction Manager.
In this role, Bielfelt will oversee field operations, workforce coordination, and project execution, with a focus on efficiency, safety, building relationships, and delivering high-quality outcomes for customers. He will also support the continued growth of Septagon’s maintenance, warehouse, and repair services.
Bielfelt brings extensive experience in commercial concrete construction and field operations. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Freedom Flatwork, where he led field operations, estimating, and project management.
“Bryan has built strong relationships with our team over nearly two decades working alongside us as a subcontractor,” said Brad Leonard, president of Septagon’s Grimes division. “He brings a solutions-oriented mindset and a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver successful projects. Bielfelt attended Des Moines Area Community College in Boone and then transitioned into hands-on construction work. He gained experience in grading, paving, and asphalt before spending eight seasons at Concrete Technologies Inc. in Grimes. There he advanced from trimmer operator to leading the commercial floor division and managing large-scale projects, including supervising the Brownells manufacturing project completed with Septagon.
